Hey everyone, I was just wondering what eveyone's favorite trail was in Moab.

Mine would have to be Elephant Hill, although I have not completed the whole trail with my X yet. (tranny, tires, etc...)

Anyway, my parents took me many times in their Land Cruiser, and really enjoyed it.

The only ones I've done are Fins n' things (really fun trail...) Top of the world (also really fun, and a couple places to play around) and Gemini Bridges. Unfortunately I couldn't do elephant hill cause my driveshaft screwed up and I didn't make it in time...but I heard it was really fun and would love to do it the next time I go. But I'd have to say Fins n things was my favorite so far, but the other two were fun, just easier with some funs places to play...

It is hard to say for me. I really enjoyed Gemini bridges. Top of the world was cool but I was sick when I did that so I let my dad drive the whole thing with me in the pass. seat. I really, really want to do Kane Creek trail because I love water crossings. Next year...

I've only done trails 3 and below on the Moab scale, so no really hardcore stuff. But I definately think Top of the World is a must for anyone (it's fun clockwise, too :) ). I also liked Gemini Bridges, at least the central part. That trail gave me a chance to really see what my truck could do. The lead from the highway to Gemini is rough though :bounce:

If any of you do Elephant Hill make sure you go to the Confluence Overlook. Best view you will ever see. It where the Colorado River meets the Green River.

Of the trails I have run there (Top of the World, the first mile of Posion Spider Mesa and Fin's-n-things) I would have to say Fin's-n-things is my favoriet so far. But as soon as I can get back out there I'm sure I'll have a new one.

golden spike has to be my favorate. Although I dont think there can ba a bad trail in moab. Elephant hill was fun except having to make all theswitchbacks with no power sterring working and a locker up front. top of the world was cool with the drop off as well. not real challenging. The one we did sunday with widow maker on it was fun. Potato salid hill was cool as well even though its not really a trail. Just cant wait to go back.

Matt
