what K&N filter?

which K&N filter do you guys have? im thinking about getting one for my 97' xlt sohc 4.0. I was looking into getting just the cone (RF-1048) and finding an adapter for the cone to fit to the stock MAF, to save some money. any recommendations?

When I get my K&N FIPK eventually, I will go with the RF1048. When Amsoil makes the same size filter I will be going with them. Amsoil will be coming out with a few different size filters shortly, well that is what they told me yesterday.

I cant find a adapter because that K&N filter has a flange of 6" dia. what are the size flanges of the KKM filters, are they smaller than a K&N
