What kind of oil for rear diff

I am going to try to change the oil in my rear diff this weekend what kind and how much do i need? also how many quarts of oil do you use when you change your oil? i have a 95 4.0

If you have a 4.10 or limited slip then you need 75W140 synthetic gear lube with limited slip additive. Otherwise, you need conventional 80W90. There should be a metal tag on your rear differential telling you what you need, especially if it calls for the 75W140.
