Well, I have an Anniversary coming up next month. 16 years! My wife said I should get something for my truck ( Yes, I married the perfect Woman ) I was thinking of some type of On Board Air. Quickair or something similar. I want to be able to Air up quickly, maybe run an Air tool if possible. What do you guys recomend? If you have 1 are you happy with it? TIA.

Wow you did marry the perfect woman! LOL. I've heard great things abou the quick air, much better then the ARB I have in mine... or you could od what a few guys have done and put nitrogen tanks in there, there cool cause you don't have to have battery power for them to work though I have heard they can lock up air tools. May want to check out Ray Lobatos air setup (if I remember right, I think its Ray Lobato), it seemed to have it going on Dead Link Removed.

Rob, both David Meisner and I have the same air set up under our trucks where the spare tire was. We use Non-Active Nitrogen gas. The carrying case that Darien made will hold two air tanks. Darien used one of these tanks at the motel in Moab to run some air tools of his to make a cut in some metal to make a fitting to hold my front sway bar. Since you have a regulator on the tank, you can adjust the air pressure to your needs. It will reflate a tire very quickly. The cost to refill one of these tanks is 12 bucks. These tanks have come in handy many times.

Rob,

Rick has a CO2 tank for inflating tires and I think he can use it with his welder as well. Don't know about air tools though. He got his tank from FLY-N-HI and it costs about $12 bucks to fill as well. I believe it holds 5lbs. You'll have to ask him if he likes it or not.
