D44 atleast, you plan on offroading it much or is it just to look cool?

umm, a little of both, its my daily driver so it will never really see any hardcore offroading. i say that now but i know in the future i will have to take it offroading.

Yeah, then I'd say D44

A daily driver on 38s, there is another phrase for that...........................

Here's what I don't get. He stated in his first post he was going to do an SAS. Later, when asked what axle he was going with, he asks for opinions on what axle he should get. Now, maybe it's just me, but if you have to ask what axle you get, maybe you shouldn't be contemplating an SAS in the first place.

Yeah, very true. *****in' you definitely need to do more research. Look at the solid axle registry and read through a lot of the threads (like I have). You'll learn a WHOLE lot about the swap, then decide what you'll use and even if you still want to do an SAS or not.

Ah, I realized after I posted that I should have asked if you were doing it yourself or not. If the guy really knows what he's doing, and is knowledgeable about axles, get his advice. Also, just search here, there's tons of info. As for the gears, those don't even have a brand listed for them. Get some good high quality gears so they don't end up breaking on you. The cost, I've heard, can be from $150 to $300 per axle for labor.

alright thanks
