What RPM at certain speeds

Dang, that is good mileage. I get about 220 miles to like 16 gallons, for about 14 mpg, you're getting about 435 miles to about 19 gallons, for about 22 mpg. Dang!

When my '93 Xlt was stock except for KKM cone filter, I was getting around 20 mpg. This was with the 4.0L Engine, A4ld automatic transmission, 3.27s gears, OEM size tires, and mostly highway driving.

Half the reason I like these trucks is the gas mileage. Not many others come close. Even the new ones. Aprox 160 hp (4.0) compared to the pathfinders 260 or so hp (3.5L). I had a chance to buy a pathfinder (mint 2004) real cheap, $10,000 but turned it down because he was selling it because of the poor gas mileage. I think the HP has alot to do with it. Anyone drop a 5.0 in a 1st gen? Hows the mileage? Must sound great!

Just under 1900rpm at 100 KPH

Stock everything, 3.27 rear. The most I've ever managed in mielage was 23 mpg on a Calgary to Kelowna run (600+ kms)

Averaging about 17mpg in the city
