I have a '92 explorer with a Confer roof rack. The rack has 4 pro comp 6" 130 watt lights, a 4' cb ant and is painted with bed liner. I also have all a garman gps streetmap, radio shack CB, a sick stero :D, and all the tools I need off road.
so, what mod do I do next?

I would improve the exhaust with a custom cat back system from your local muffler shop. Then, maybe, a KKM intake.

Good luck....

get you some black roack crawlers like a 15 x 10 ($50 a piece or so) then borrow a sawzall then you can fit th ebig tires that jim proposed. youll have the exhaust and kkm for a few ponies, but go ahead and gear down to 4.88 so your 37" boggers will grab. go ahead and take your bumper off and fab a prerunner front end with room for a winch and 4 kc daylighters. also since your increasing your flow go ahead put a bbk supercharger in.

what else is he missing jim?

oh ya a killer stereo.

No, he says he has a "sick stereo" :p

Go with a lift. Or tires. Or exhaust. Or engine upgrades. Or, maybe even,

do what you would like to do. I know, it's a crazy idea, but it just might work.

bulletproof glass all around. hell ya. i dnt know why i never thought of htat before.

dude, im reading way too many magazines. im just being sarcastic. if yougot the tools to go offroad then i would start with some suspension and tire upgrades.

two tone has the right idea!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the idea of a lift, but what lift do you guys like? no body lifts, or 1" and 2" they are worthless in my eyes.

personally i dont have anythign against a body lift. i think that a 2" sould be used to prevent rubbing but i would go with that rough country 4" and slap some 33's in there.

I'm with Buchvilleman, I think suspension/tires is the way to go.
