I went down today to have a set of 31x10.50s, that I already own, put on my '91 4WD Exp. The guy at Discount Tire was very nice, but said they were not allow to install these tires on my X because of all the fallout from all the SUV rollovers, etc. So, now I am just going to take the tires off the X and take both sets down and just have the tires put on the wheels, that way they won't see which car they are going on. But, if they ask, what should I tell them they are going on? It will need to be a truck of some sort with the same bolt pattern. I was thinking about just saying they are going onto a Ranger, but I don't know if they have the same bolt patterns. I know someone else here had the same problem when they tried to order from Tire Rack.
What a bunch of %&*()(%$&*! You would think they would jsut have an "I accept responsility" waiver form you you could fill out!
