what the heck r these?

i was looking at my explorer trying to see if i had any hooks on it just in case i would need to be pulled out of sumthin in the future and i came across these two metal hook looking objects and i was wondering what the heck are they? they are welded to the the frame near the front tires, if you know what the are or their purpose please let me know

Yes, they are supports for the factory bottle jack.
