i wouldl ike to add the sirius package to it also along with the adapter to be ableto still use the factory steering wheel controls.

Not a bad unit, but if you search around you can get the pioneer f700bt or f900bt for the same price or a little bit more. the f700bt has navagation, and blutrooth built in, and the f900bt has dvd, bluetooth, nav all in 1 unit. otherwise they look almost the same. same screen size.

actually i can get that unit on ebay for $310 shipped brand new!! so that is alot cheaper than the other models with nav. and dvd is a must, so the 700 is out, and the cheapest i saw the 900 for was about $650 en ebay, way more than what i want to spend. they are nice, but too nice

personally i have been really disappointed with the newer pioneer stuff. if you can get your hands on an avic-d2, i would do that instead of the avh-3100dvd. even the kenwood ddx-514 is a pretty nice unit if you are looking for a double din without nav.

the avic-d2 is alot more than what i want to spend. and the pioneer 3100 and kenwood ddx-514 are very comparable, i reviewed them then went to bb and fiddled around with them both. i like them both. but i can get the pioneer for $310, and the cheapest i saw the kenwood wasabout 100 bux more. so that is kinda how i got down to the pioneer.

what were you disappointed about in the new pioneers if u dont mind me asking?
