I'm on call next weekend (we are on a 5 week rotation now).
I'm hoping the weather will be decent the weekend of the 21st, Travis and I are getting the camping bug. We'll probably try to stay in the lowlands, maybe over by Hood Canal, Belfair State Park?
Figured out a fix for the noisy PS pump and replaced an unhappy U joint yesterday, went up to Coplay Lake and the trail head. Didn't try Surprise Lake cause I was alone.
I would like to go but I have to put a rear main seal in my brothers ranger on sat. Im going to look at some wheels and tires in oregon on sunday for the explorer and get some work done on the samurai if I can.
Got a set of recentered h1 wheels and like new 39.5 iroks off CL in oregon the other day. Took them out and played in the snow today, basicly the same as my DIY beadlocks just with a hell of alot less bolts and weight to deal with (the PVC run flats are alot lighter then I thought). Looking forward to taking them out again with 1 or 2 psi and seeing how they compare to my old setup in the deep snow. The lifter tick with the 4.0L is getting anoying but that poor thing owes me nothing and having the 5.0L at home gives me a reason to try to kill it
Went out over the weekend and cleared trees off some of our trails, lots of branches and blow-down from the storm. If you go into the woods dont forget your saw...
