My 2002 ford explorer has a rattle sound at idle. Around transmission converter area. Started after i bought it at 50,000 miles now at 100,000
it has gotten louder over the years.
Just about any v8 explorer that drives by me I can hear they have the rattle sound also. I have gotten so used to the sound. While im walking in parking lots i can hear the sound and just guess its a v8 explorer and im right on.
