whats that sensor near the coolant temp sensor?

looking at the engine from the front, its about... 6-8 inches to the left of the ECT sensor on the other side of the thermostat.. It has a single connector. I thought it was oil pressure sending unit, but those are typically lower near the pan.

Whats that sensor?

4.0 motor, 1991 X
