Whats the deal with uhaul?

My bf caught a glimpse of a news segment the other day... The newscaster said that Uhaul will not let someone who owns a ford explorer rent a uhaul. Does anyone know why that is? He wasn't able to watch the whole segment or else I would already know the answer. Well get back to me if one of you guys know.
