- 2004 Explorer EB
Just bought a 2004 Explorer EB 4x4 with 50k on it this past Saturday. My wife required I replace our Town and Country with something that had a third row seat. I was between the Trailblazer/Envoy, Pilot, and Explorer. I will say I almost bought the Pilot, but it sold the day before I called. Those things drive awesome, where the Explorer is much more truck-like.
I was in the new car dealership business from 1995-2009. I was a Chrysler Jeep service advisor 7 years and a Ford service advisor for 4 or so. I've owned over 60 cars (freak) and been around cars all my life. This is the first time my wife and I both drive Fords. I recently found her a grandma owned 03 Taurus with 43k on it.
I know quite a bit about Chrysler/Jeep and a lot about Fords, although I am rusty as it has been over 5 years since I worked there.
