Hey Everyone. My name is Gabe.
I started out liking imports and hondas and I still do, but I am wayy to big to be trying to be comfortable in those cars anymore.
Coming out an 87 CRX into this, its so much more comfortable.
96 Explorer Sport 4x4 2 door. 156k Miles, Auto BRAND NEW A/T Tires.(plus full size spare)
Came with new EGR, Battery, Plugs/Wires. THE A/C EVEN WORKS.
I needs an oil change, trans fluid flush (trans fluid is dark, but doesn't smell burnt) It doesn't leak anything. It has the idle surging/low idle thing that comes and goes... I am told it is the Idle Air Control Motor, not the idle air valve. Comments on that?
This community looks really active, and alot of ford communitys are kinda dieing off, I am sorry to say.
I am an active member on Honda-Tech, Toyota Nation, TriStateTuners and now, EXPLORER FORUMS.
I would be driving the explorer today, but with the state of NJ needing to find like 50 million dollars for the budget, DMV is now closed Mondays. I WAS SO EXCITED TO DRIVER HER.
iPhone pics... I will take better pics after I get it over to my boys detail shop.
My plans are - HID Houings, HID's, Exhaust, Intake, System and then be done with it.
