I'm a new member here and I like this forum, it has done me a lot of good trying to restore my explorer. I got a 97 v8 and aim starting my mechanic career while practicing with me explorer. I love my explorer as it is my first car, and plan on doing a lot more to it. Anyways, does anyone know any performance upgrades aside from the CAI or exhaust? I've already done both. Thanks!

Post some pics of your truck, im interested to see what it looks like. I also have a 97 xlt sohc and done a lot of cosmetic mods to it. I will start doing permormance mods next week. First starting with intake and exhaust.

Aight! I'll get those pictures as soon as I can, haven't been on the site as often as I wish I could. Is yours a V6? I'm trying to fix a noise in my car, I think it might be a pulley.
