i have a set of 16x8 wheels just sitting in my closet. They are some chrome KMC motorsport rims(forgot the name) but i got them before i got my X for another truck. They are a 5X5.5 Pattern. I was thinking of getting adapters to put them on the my X. IS this a good idea? My truck barely ever goes off-road. if so nothing major. Nothing to flex on here anyway. i drive on the interstate maybe once a week. Any comments??

Also i have tried to sell these but no one is willing to buy they for what they are worth. So i figure i spend money on some quality adaptor and put these rims on my explorer.

if you are going to get wheel adapter make sure you get the kind that use their own lugs.... so basically you end up having 10 lugs per wheel

i'll second that... if they are not heavy/billit/semi-expensive, dont get 'em.
