Wheel adapters

Just. Couriuos has anyone used wheel spacers to change from the stock bolt spacing (4.5"?) to 5.5"? I have a set of wheels and tires that I could get another year outta I I could mount my 98 f150 wheels on my ex....

I haven't used them to change the bolt pattern, but on my first get I needed 2" spacers because the Mustang Pony wheels I'm running have super deep back spacing. Been running them 3 or 4 years with no problems.

One note of caution, don't hammer on them with an impact wrench. Hand tighten in the star pattern, then gradually tighten each lug nut. This keeps them centered, and prevents the possibility of you breaking the spacer or pulling the stud from it.
