Im looking at getting some new rims and tires here maybe next month. the rims i was looking at come in a 16x10. i was thinking about going up to a 255 from my 235 also. what size would be good WITHOUT a lift kit?

IMHO I think that a 255 on a 10 inch wide rim would look a bit werid, not sure if there is a problem with it but I am just saying IMO.....I mean I have 12.5 which is equal to about a 315 on an 8 inch rim

ok so 32x10.50 is the biggest i can go with NO mods to the susupension. what about rubbing when turning? how far will it throw the speedo off?

On the list it says no modification, so it won't rub when turning on most vehicles....no remember this is not ALWAYS going to be right, cause all cars are different but yes you should be able to fit those tires. I have heard that some places will not mount them because they say they don't fit but they will. I am not sure on what your stock tire size is but if you let me know or if you know you can find out yourself using a speedo calculator, I always use the nifty calculators at the BFG site...

well the biggest i could fit in mine was 31's bfgoodrich all terrains but thats for a 97 and i believe you have a bigger wheel well then i do so try some 32's maybe.... When i got mine i took it to discount tire and i asked them what the biggest tire wheel package i could put on there and they through on all different sizes untill i found the 31's that fit without rubbing so just take it to a local shop and see what you can do

stock size is a 235/70/60..

235/70/ I asume you mean 16 and not 60 correct?

Using the 235/70/16 as stock and 32's as new tire, the BFG calculator says when your speedo says 75 your real new speed would be 82mph

yeah 16" rims..my bad..i found the calculator you were talking about. it'll throw it off a good bit. would a shop re-calibrate or would i be better off doing it myself with Superlifts Trupeed?

That I am not possitive on, but I asume that you could just get a tuner/programmer and calculate it that way but once again not sure on this part.
