A few months before I found this site, I had a set of H&R 1.75'' spacers installed in my rear wheels. After about 5000 miles, I have yet to encounter any problems.

After reading some of the comments people made in the past, I asked my mechanic to check the wheel bearings for wear while he was replacing my rotors. There was no unusial wear. The hidden lugs stayed as tight as they were when installed, and the luggs on the wheel itself were also tight.

I will keep them on untill next summer when i plan on getting new Enkei RT6 rims.

yeah, id be very interested to see the effects of a long term study on spacers.

1.75" spacers, huh?...you went with the biggies, heh. i used to have the 1" ones.

as far as the rt6's go, you know you wont need spacers with em, right? they already have a 0 offset (and they look damn cool); i love em.

Yep, I never really liked after market rims untill i saw yours... thats why i asked so many weeks ago. i like me current stock 16'' ones, but they seem too skinny for the rear, so an 8 inch with zero offset should help a bit. they are perfect for me because i'm trying to avoid chrome at all costs.

I should have them on till summer, prolly end up with about 10K miles total. If no signifficant wear is there, we got another mod available :bounce:
