My 98 4x2 feels "skitterish" while driving. Alignment is fine, shocks new and newer Revos.

I really want to tighten up the ride and REDUCE the "rollover" type feeling I get going down the road.

Is using wheels spacers a safe way to help increase the ride Stability issue ??

If so, are 1" spacers OK to use ??

Does it feel like the vehicle wants to tip or just the suspension letting the body roll?
If it is body roll then look at the suspension.
Maybe anti-sway bars or bigger ones, stiffer springs or make sure nothing is broken and everything is connected.

Agree with bwhited....you should identify the problem instead of masking it with wheel spacers. Also, I don't think spacers are a good idea especially if you're running stock wheels...they'll throw off your suspension geometry possibly leading to premature wear of suspension parts.

I just installed the beefier Explorer Express rear sway bar...did wonders for reducing body roll when turning...handling is much improved.

Roger that.

Where did you buy it from ?? How much ??

Do buy the larger rear bar, the 98+ have the largest front bar already.

Get that EE bar soon, they suggest that they might raise their prices. It's currently $180, I just bought my second one, for my 99.

You can help with spacers also, but the anti-sway bar would be ten times more effective. Good luck,
Don
