Can some of you post pics of your ride with wheel spacers??? Also, what thickness are they ? I have tourque rims with 265/75/16 tires. I am looking at 1 inch spacers in the front and 11/2 iinch for the rear. Any and all comments are welcome. Thanks

No one got spacers?????

i have spacers, just no pics of it with spacers on yet..
got 1.5" spacers and had to do lots of trimming even with a 4" lift

iv had 1.5" spacers on both explorers, with the lift and without.
had to trim the front bumper abit.
They do stick out more, looks more agressive to.

Just FYI. Spacers or high offset wheels on the front will also cause additional stress on the wheel bearings so look to replace them sooner than without spacers. Just saying.

Thanks, I May go with just 1 1/2" on the rear. With the wheels I have on now, the front sticks out ever so slightly, while the rear looks painfull, especially while approaching the truck from the rear.
Thanks again.

That's the way I'm going, have the spacers just haven't put them on yet.

Here is some useful wheel spacer info. Just in case you didn't know all this already.

Now you've done it! You've opened up the hub centric/lug centric can of worms............ & the steel vs. aluminum can of worms........

Of course he spoke of torquing the spacer nuts/wheel lugs and then installed them with an impact, no-no!

Now that I think of it, why would he preach about doing this correctly for safety reasons and then take a standard blue-torque impact to the lug-nuts? I can only assume that the air tool was set to 10lbs and they went back and re-torqued them correctly. Since I do have an account with the web site listed in the video, (I needed help with our Ford 6.4 PowerStroke), I could send him a e-mail but I'm sure I know what the answer would be, "come on dumb ass, you don't know how to torque a lug nut, bla-bla-bla". All the info. that they sell assumes that you know what you are doing and are just need help with the Ford PowerStroke Engine. Its a great web site and the advice he gives out for free is fantastic. Check it out.

Now that I think of it, all the Explorers are Hub Centric, I think.

1.5" spacers

I just ordered 1.5" for the rear and 1" for the front. I think that will look good and get rid of the rub in the front. I'll post a pic when installed.

Got the spacers and fitted them this evening. They really changed the appearance a lot.
The wider stance makes her look much more aggresive, without being toooooo much.
Pics tomorrow.

@Derekjs got any pics of it after? And what spacers did you go with?

I forgot to mention that my wheels and tires contribute to the width. 33x12.5 MT on 17x8
