But some of the guys that ride around Raleigh are looking for some other places to go. Pretty much all stock folks here. After I get mine fixed, I might venture off the road again, staying away from the obvious.

hey guys im trying to talk my dad into going with me but first i need to go get tow hooks since i had to take them off the front of mine when i put on the body lift. anything else i might need to do before i come if i can? i got all week to try and do some small things if i need to but once again still 2wd on 33s. i hope its not to hot up there either because my AC is out so lets stay under some trees haha? so how many ppl are actually going now anyways?

Do you stay down town for school? Anyways, yea i dont have an a/c such a pain, i had my done about 2 weeks ago then last week my ac compressor went bad, another 500 dollars to fix it, i dont need it that bad. So i am glad i wont be the only 2wd up there now. -TJ

No, I got pulled out (by a Suburban nice enough to stop by, and the Pathfinder that got me into the mess in the first place), and drove home. Immediately developed the rear seal leak, which is fixed, but now there is a front end clunk when you get some torque on it. I'm thinking (and hoping) that it is one of the CV's in the left half-shaft. In the mean time, I can drive it, but can't run too much torque with it banging.

I went and bought one today, i already have 2 on the front. This one will go on the back. Also i am going to buy a strap. What size 30 ft or 20 ft. -Tj

This weekend is no good for me.... im plannign another southeast trip after this one though prolly late august or early september.

Ill be online nightly after about 7, i have to work in the day.

You can only IM people if you have AOL instant messenger on your computer.

Lets plan to meet up at Eldorado Outpost (gas station outside URE) on highway 109 around 5 on friday. If you cant get there friday afternoon we will get back up there around 9am saturday. Ill find the address for eldorado outpost so you can mapquest to it later oon tonight.

ok we really need to find out whos going and what day they plan on getting there. friday (29th) at 5pm or saturday (30th) 9am... we'd love to have a good turnout so lets get everything situated and in order.

im going for sure - i'll be arriving on friday the 29th and meetin up at the gas station at 5 unless i get lost... haha... but i'll deff be there ... if you have aol instant messanger ... message nissanboy's screen name and let him know if your going and what day you plan on getting there so we can all meet up and have a great time!

if you have straps bring em, if you want to get em go for it... i have a 20ft strap that i got from work ( off of a crane that lifts steal beams about 2oo ft in the air... so its strong) and it would be a good idea to have a tow point front and rear! i need a few hooks on the front so i'll be doing that this weekend.. also if you have any spare parts that you think you may break id bring em... if you plan on camping bring all your gear that youll need... thats about all i can think of right now!
