Where in the mountains is it?

it is about 30 mins east of TN about halfway through the state norht to south. More than enough there to play on for anyone. No one shot any pics of the rock garden i guess. People were too busy gawking at all the frame clanging and banging.

PM me if you would like to wheel there sometime. I just dont want the location posted publicly so everyone and thier brother can Google for places to wheel in NC.

Looks like a good time... How long are the trails?

the trails are all interconeected and what not... id say about 10-15 miles of trail with play areas where rock has been blasted and whatnot. More than enough to play for a day and camp for the night.

Sounds sweet

How far from VA Beach?

looks like a nice place, and wow those 2nd gens dont have much flex in the front suspension

i dont live anywhere near north carolina, but those are some sweet pictures. how did you get the back to flex so much with a SUA set up? cuz i'm almost positive mine wont flex that much.

It will go farther than that if i could afford shocks with more than 14" travel...I'll start a new thread on it in the suspension section.

These trails are in the central western mountains of NC about 30 mins from teh TN border. If you want to go PM me and I will tell you how to get directions.

your right they dont... I can get it to move a bit more if i take teh sway bar loose up front and let soem air out of the tires. These pics are all running abotu 32psi in the tires.

I live in Salisbury (about and hour north of charlotte), I sometimes ride at uwharrie. I'd like to get directions if you don't mind. Uwharrie is really the only good place I know about in NC. I would like to find some other places that aren't too far away. Thanks.

sweet videos. i watched em last night. looks like it was pretty slick. i also like how i'd be watchin a wrangler, and then another wrangler and then another, and then outa nowhere, an explorer on 35's. those guys ever give you any crap?

no they dont give me much crap cause im always the one trying the more adventurous lines. We live harmoniously.

Nice videos, a friend of mine that has a heep said they are going to close that area to put in condos and such.

It has been rumored as such for a few years... the state sold one tract of it and closed it off and we respect that when we ride. i doubt the rest of it goes anywhere for a while as there is not an easy way to get into it yet.
