Well something very stupid happen today. I went over to my brother-in-law and he wanted to move my truck from the driveway so that he can park his car into the garage. I did not expect him to do something like this but I guess you can’t trust anyone to drive your truck, even if it is as simple as taking it out of the driveway. What he did was stomp on the gas while in reverse and I noticed the truck wheels lock up hard. I am sure that was not good. After I took the truck and drive it hard (I normally pet my ex) to see if something was wrong with the tranny but everything seems ok.

Did anyone experience this before? Is this some kind of safety?

Did you punch the crap outta him? I woulda just for doing it.

Now you know never to let him touch your truck again.

Now what do man it locked up?
It didn't move?
maybe he was 2 footing her and stomped on the gas and brakes at the same time trying to get it to peel out or something:dunno:

I have never experienced that. I have done that a few times when backing out a few snow banks I buried the truck in, but never on dry ground.

Now i know

I never taught he would have done something like that. I kind of tried to reverse like what he did and truck did something like the brakes kick in but nothing like when he did it. when he did it there were tire marks on the ground. I hope this does not hurt the tranny and cost me some $$ later on...

When it happen i was so mad, but he is much older than me and i have respect for him, that is why i don't understand why he would do something like that. I asked him what he did and he said he step on the gas too hard. But for that to happen he must have floor the gas....

What he doesn't know how to drive. That is not kewl. Don't believe that bull.
He probably was putting her in reverse and stomped the gas before he hit the R.

Take pictures of the tire marks so later when he has to pay for repairs you can remind him why.

Since you have respect for him, you can respectfully say he is not allowed to drive or move your truck anymore.

Good luck, hope everything is ok. I think you should be alright though.

I hope the ex would be ok.

Yeah, i don't have luck with my brother-in-laws and my vehicle. I had a prelude before this 2003 ex and my other brother-in-law f***-up the clutch once and then another time he broke my muffler. That is the last time i ever left my car at his place. Now i am thinking i can't let either of the brother-in-laws close to my vehicles.

shows how much they respect you I guess. Do they at least pay for the damages?

I say just revoke usage of your vehicle to them.

I made him pay for the muffler because it was the second time he F*** up my car. the first time with the clutch i paid for the parts and we both spent a day and put it in....I just hope something does not happen to my baby as a result of this.

I don't think one time will break anything. Since you left tire marks, looks like the power went straight to the wheels and didn't bind or hurt anything, just broke free.
I think it would be very hard to tell if something was hurt.
