no i use a torque wrench.

You have TQ values for alloy wheels, diff numbers for steel wheels, ck them after a hun miles or so, 90/100 ftlbs will serve you well

On my friend's Porsche 911 Turbo (OMG what an awsome car) his wheel specs are for 150 ft/lbs! I guess you don't want a wheel coming loose when you are approaching 200 MPH!
