Anyone know where I can find this Ford Plague like the one in front of the radiator on this vehicle? I have emailed the owner of this one, but no replies so maybe yall can help me. I like this look, or maybe you know of another one that is even better than this one.

That's Black Magic here on the site. Those are door scuffs. They were/are on eBay. Thats where he got his from at least.

That is correct. I went to ebay and did a search, came up empty handed. He has a very nice and imformative web site. I would suggest to allot of newbies thinking of doing some mods to go there and read. Lots of information. Hats off to BlackMagic.

Where else could you find it? I wonder exactly what it is and what it would fit? One could always be gotten if you know where to look and what for. If I went to a junk yard, I would not know where to begin to look for something like that to start with. But I agree, it is nice and I want to do it. I just got to get that part first. So someone help me, please. LOL.

Yea, right now I couldn't find any on eBay either. I looked up the seller that Matt got his from, and it is no longer a Valid ID.

I was looking for those also. Black Magic said he couldn't find them on E-bay either. So I guess we are SOL.

Nah, never say soh. I WILL find this mod and do it. It may take me a week walking through the junk-yards, but I will find it. But I think that tomorrow, Monday, I will take this picture of it to the dealer's here locally. I do allot of business with them, heck I just bought new carpet from them, they may have some ideas of what it is from. Will keep yall tuned.

aren't they aftermarket door scuffs? maybe originally intended for an F-150.

I would go look at pepboys. I remember seeing door scuffs there with "ford" on them. I don't think it was the exact same one but you might find something you like. I know i saw some that had a red emblem on it.

the bad thing is you will only use one of the scuffs. I guess you could try and find another place to put one or sell the second scuff to another member that would like to do a similar thing

what about some SVT ones. They are for a focus but doesn't really matter, not going to be used in the door anyway.

point is you can find something to work. its just a door scuff and there are a varity of them floating around.

Maybe BM can get some deminsions off the ones he got so you know what size to look for

i was just looking at those. the focus ones have a smilar shape to the one BM has. you might want to try a search for "door sill" instead of "door scuffs." i found a bunch of them for trucks, but they probably wont match up as well as the focus (or whatever BM used)

Well I found a real nice one for an Expedition, 4 piece set, but it said Expedition all over them. I will continue my search for this part, if I do have to get a pair, I am sure someone would want the other one. But everyone keep your eyes peeled and if you find this, e-mail me, PM me, or post for me, LOL. I want it and will not stop till I find it. But not obsessed(sp) over it.

you might want to look for a "fan shroud cover." when i did that on google and came up with this place. not exactly what BM had but very close and it gets the idea across... i didnt see any for the ranger/explorer though. but at least we know a proper name for them now

unfortunatly, theres more of a market to 'bling/rice' out a focus than there is for the explorer.
