I have a 91 explorer 4x4 lifted with a 5.5 superlift and 3 inch body lift(running 35x12.5's). Where could I find some colored front coils for this lift(and my car) that would be quality front coil springs? Thank-x for your help Dead Link Removed

Kial,
Are you having any problems with the SuperLift coil springs? I'm considering the 5.5" lift and need to know of any problems.

Kial,

David Meisner has a similar set-up like yours with the addition of custom red front coil springs. He would probably be your best source of info. He has one the featured Explorers.

Not sure where he had them made, but I know National Spring in El Cajon, CA does custom work, as well as Eaton Detroit Spring ( www.eatonsprings.com ).

Sounds like you have a monster ride on your hands. I'd love to see a picture of your rig. Good luck!

I contacted Eaton and I am asking them about there springs but they havent gotten back to me yet. I dont think I can go with Davids springs becuase he has a 7 inch lift & a 3 inch body lift. But ill ask him later anyways. Thanks for your help

If you're happy with the 5.5" coils why don't you just paint them? When I swapped front coils I bead-blasted the stock ones and painted them (black) just for the hell of it. They look great...
