Looking for interesting and innovative installs for my Alpine 6-disc changer that I'm adding to my Alpine CDA-9855 HU. If you have pics could you post them too.
I mounted my CD changer under the drivers side, second row seat, but to the seat not the floor. Its hidden yet easy to access because when you flip the seat up for third row access what was underneath is now on top. I also used rubber washers between every bolt which reduces any vibration skipping. For amp storage I wanted to do the same thing but under the other side but mounting an amp upside down is not good becuase it will get too hot. I dont like storing in a storage compartment like kfkodiak suggested (whos Ex I think is an 01) because I like to use them for storage. I will try and get some pics out soon of the CD changer storage.
Do you have power seats? I want to mount an old Kicker amp under the passenger seat, but don't know if the power seat motors and wiring will get in the way. Has anyone mounted an amp under a front seat with power seats?
I do have power seats, you cannot mount anything under the front two seats that I know of, the motors are too close to the front and the small space in the back is too small, the second row passengers might be prone to kicking it.
