I'm looking to clean my MAF and search reveiled that this is the stuff to use. However, I'm not sure where to get it? I've checked a few pharmacies but no luck. They told me to try Home Depot but before I go tearing that place apart (cause the people who work there are useless for the most part) I wanted to know if anyone knows where I can pick this up?

Thanks

Home Depot does have it. I've seen it in the area with other solvents. I've also gotten it from a pharmacy. We get it from graphics supply places.

Thanks! I'm going tonight.

Get some Everclear, that way what you don't use, you can drink while cleaning your MAF ;)

If only there were stores like Home Depot in this modest little town of International Falls. There would be stuff to do!

Most anyplace that has decent painting suppliers (Home Depot, Lowe's, maybe even Wal-mart, many hardware stores like Ace). Hope that helps.

Thanks all...

...I was able to score some in the Paint Department at Home Depot. It was near the other chemicals like mineral spirits and paint thinner.

:)

This weekend I'm going to try cleaning the MAF in an effort to increase my $hitty gas mileage. I've been averaging between 11 - 12 MPG on my bone stock V8 AWD. Last weekend I did some highway miles and it kicked up to 13 MPG

Changing the tire pressure to 40PSI has really done nothing but give me a rougher ride :(

Try some fuel injector cleaner for $4 at Autozone. It might help. For $4, its worth a try.

I tried...no luck. Someone on the board told me to try STP Fuel Injector cleaner in the yellow bottle (was it you?) but I only found it in the black. I tried it out and it didn't make a difference in the mileage at all. :(

The next things on my list are:

1) Cleaning MAF
2) Spark Plugs
3) O2 Sensors
4) Selling the gas guzzler :(
