Where do I find the max a/c vacuum motor or actuator?

My 2005 explorer max a/c door never shuts as it is always pulling in outside hot air. I read another post about replacing the motor for the recirculator door but do not know where to find the motor or the switch on the a/c panel.

I don't know the answer your looking for but I think what your trying to fix is called the blend door.. knowing the right name may help find an existing thread on it.. (not sure if there is a blend door fix thread for an X as new as yours).

Here is the thread I found that I was referencing. Basically the max a/c never goes to a recirculate mode it is always pulling in outside air.

I'm having the same problem on my wife's 2003 XLS. Max A/C will not recirculate the air. I haven't had time to investigate it physically which is why I'm searching the forums. The link above seems to make sense but does anyone know if it pertains to 2003 or 2005?
