Where EXACTLY is shift solenoid A for the 5R55S transmission

2003 Ford Explorer v6 4wd. TR code is "v" indicating a 5R55S transmission.

error code P0750 - Shift Solenoid A malfunction.

Looked high and low but cant find the exact location of solenoid "A" found the solenoid body assembly but nothing that tells me exactly which shift solenoid is "A"? Hope someone can help? Thanks in advance for your time!

It is part of the solenoid body, individual solenoids are not replaceable.

well the 55r5s must be a lot different than the 55r5e then, because the solenoid A replacement in a 5r55e is not only possible, it is simple.

Welcome to this forum! The 5R55W/S/N have a block. A lot of the new transmissions have them. Check the internal wiring harness as well.
