Behind the dash near the radio.

can you be more exact as I have looked and felt and prodded and ....also is there something at the back for this???
when I find it how do I know I found it???

Nope... don't have one in the shop to look at... I just grabbed a wiring diagram to see where the book says it is. It says, "behind instrument panel under radio".

behind the ashtray???

On my '92 and my '87 (I would assume the '94 and most others are the same), the fuel reset switch (aka inertia switch) is located under the dash, to the right of the transmission hump. You will probably have to pull the carpet back a little to see it.

always glad to hear from you shorty and thanks... what does it look like and how big etc.

It's been a while since I've looked at it. Call it a 1 in x 2 in narrow box with a button on top and two wires coming out the bottom (pink and/or green as I recall).

Black box with a round red button on top.

thanks guys...will check in the light tomorrow

should be to the right of the tranny hump (i forget if its on the firewall, or on the right side behind the kickpanel trim) either way, it should be fairly obvious what it is when you find it.

thanks again...

The inertia shut off switch is mounted to the floor pan on the passenger side of the vehicle, below the heater unit just above the carpet.

As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. The fuel pump relay is located on the firewall directly under the glove box. Just pull the carpet out of the way..

DeRocha have the wires been cut to your inertia switch? It looks like they are taped with electrical tape there in your pic.

Ummmm thats a Yes and No... In the picture the wires haven't been cut yet. I have since wired in an external fuel pump cut off switch with an LED indicator light. The light indicates 12v+ is being sent to the Fuel pump. As a side benefit it works as a poor mans kill switch...

great pic...hope I can return the favour someday....thanks a million!!!!
