Where is the blend Door

Could I get to it by cutting a hole into the plenum with a rotozip, fix the door then epoxy the hole back????

Where is the blend door acuator?

im not exactly sure what/wher a blend door is, but if it is in the plenum. why not just go to a junkyard and take a new plenum off a truck?

seems like it would work better than drilling holes into plenums and whatnot.

The whole dash, airbags and all, has to come out to replace the entire plenum, it can get pricy if you have the dealer do it.

If you drop the glovebox down and look behind, you'll see your plenum. On top of the plenum is a small white plastic box, thats the acuator. The blend door is in the plenum right underneath it. I've thought about doing the exact same thing you're thinking about. I have yet to come up with any problems that it would cause, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, waiting til its warmer outside. If you go for it, good luck!

Thanks guys, I was just looking for an easier way out, Probably will get started on it this weekend, Ill let you know how I come out

if you pull all the crap off the oposite side, under the hood, it can be changed without pulling the dash apart. I just did mide last fall. Its tight, but only took a few hours and a scraped knuckle
