where is the fuel filter of my 99 explorer xlt?

I plan to replace it for the first time. The information I found tells me it is located under the front door at the driver side. But I still can't find it. So could your guys tell me where it is? It is better if you have pictures. Thanks a lot.

drives...under left frame rail...about at the door....

i assume its there on yours...I have a 01 sport
