Where is the IAC on my '95 X? And how can you get it off?

Should right on top. Connects to the upper intake manifold, 2 bolts hold it down and has a plug connected to it. Cylinder type body.

Why can't someone make a good IAC?

One that lasts for longer than 50K miles? I mean, all it does is allow some air into the intake when at idle, right? How difficult a pice to fabricate could that be?
Heck, don't the BBK TB's have a hole through which a small amount of air continues to pass even when the TB is closed, for idle purposes?
