Where is the PCM located ?

Im trying to find the PCM module on my 1996 5.0 Explorer . I looked on the pass side under the kick panel and only saw the airbag module . I don't wanna tear the truck apart to find it . Im just trying to locate the factory "tape" as the owners manual said that has the factory code for my keyless entry ( in the drivers door , not a FOB ) . Any help would be great .

door code in rear panel on gem module... in jack storage area.... need a flashlght and a compact mirror on a stick
