I feel like my idle has been a bit high lately, around 800-900 and at or just over 1000 in P or N. Is this normal as it gets colder here in Chicago? I have replaced the TPS, cleaned IAC, MAF, plugs, wires, O2 sensor, PCV. I can live with it but just was wondering...

Normal is around 750 for me on all my Ford vehicles.

What did you clean the IAC, MAF, plugs, wires, O2 sensor, PCV with? Hopefully you didn't use brake parts cleaner as that will pretty much screw them up. That could be the cause if you used it.

I have noticed mine idling higher too as it has gotten colder in Michigan. It will usually idle around 800-900 in OD and after the engine warms up, it will idle right at 750 like always.

I replaced the PCV, MAF, TPS with new. However, I did clean the IAC with some carb cleaner--wasn't doing the trick and then used brake cleaner. Should I run some more Amsoil Power Foam through the TB and Upper Intake to help get it out? I've got a few cans of it.

BTW. Brake parts cleaner will not mess up an IAC or the O2 sensor. The other parts i'm not sure of. You should have an electric choke on the vehicle that is causing it to idle higher when it is cold.
