Where to Buy New Radiator

94 xlt A/T. Anyone have any thoughts on where to buy a new radiator? Do the chain parts stores have any less than desireable suppliers, or should I stick with a Ford unit?

Napa, Adavance Auto....

Just a stock replacement should be fine. I beleive Autozone deals Modine radiators which have never failed me.
 






I had to replace mine, got it from Napa..I think they had a 2 and 3 core listed, and they were pretty close to the same price, so I got the bigger one. It's a great radiator, between that and my electric fan, I don't think I could overheat the engine if I tried...

What is involved in changing the radiator? How long does it take?
 






Disconnect the upper, and lower hoses, 2 transmission lines, and hose going to the overfill tank. Remove the fan shroud, and upper connecting bolts. Installation is the reverse of this. Make sure that you use new hoses, and the proper coolant mixture. Adding some antirust solution is also a good idea.
