I'm looking for some tow hooks for my X. any suggestions for a source, I'd like a no drill option.

Also looking for a cheap source for a quality hitch, brand suggestions also welcome. I've got the factory (I think, how do I tell?) class II hitch, and want to upgrade to the class three.

Thanks,

Mav.

If you're getting a hitch, you can get a tow hook that inserts into the sleeve. I don't know of any no-drill hooks. I got my normal hooks from Autozone. Napa sells hooks too.

Front or Rear for the hooks?

Are the Tow hooks for the front of the vehicle or for the rear?

Hooks on the front are tough (I'm speaking for 1st gen. X) the plastc skirt hangs pretty low from the Frame.

I made brackets and knotched the skirt for the Hooks to come through. Looks pretty damn nice but it certainly isn't a Bolt on.

www.hitchfinder.com has Reese & Drawtite recievers. www.hitchcorner.com has a nice selection too.
I like to window shop at www.NorthernTool.com they have some nice & different products.
www.clemson4wheel.com seems to have a nice pair of black 10,000 lb tow hooks for $11.95 + shipping. I have heard here that a lot of guys go to a Chevy dealer and buy the tow hooks that fit a Silverado truck. There supposed to be strong.
