Ok. Im sure lots of you have seen this same post, but i would appriciate any response.

I just got a '98 Explorer XLT SOHC , upgraded from my 93.

I know what I want it to look like, basicaly , but need some guidence.

I know that I really like the KMC venom's , but i saw 1 place that it said its bolt pattern fit for only f150's , expeditions , etc ... not an explorer. But i've also seen explorers w/ venom's.

Also, lowering it I need some guidence. I was planning on getting the suspension set from explorer express (http://www.explorerexpress.com/) which seems to be a good place, but its pretty expensive.... is it worth it to get the kit to get a smoother ride?

And the final question, what can i get to make the dash where my aftermarket CD player is look good w/o all that blank space.

Thanks in advance for helpin me out with any of these lame questions (im new gimme time)

Coming from the import scene and seeing all of the half-a$$ed ways that there are to lower a car, yes go for the kit. Not only will you get a smoother ride but much better control and quality.

Venoms, Can't help ya...

Single Din deck into your Explorer, go to your local stereo store and they should be able to sell you, or if they do your install, a kit that has a pocket to put things instead of just all that empty space...

Hope that helped a bit...

Can't help you with the rims or with lowering, but I could show you what I did with my single DIN radio install. Click on the Custom Lights link in my signature line and take a look at what I did. You don't have to do exactly that, but it might give youy some ideas to dress up that empty space.
