Thank you ever so much for this fabulous post on reading the code on the computer module. It only took me about 5 minutes. After removing the defrost panel the code could be read from an angle using a flashlight. To look straight down on the manual through the windshield I would had to have removed more of the dashboard itself. It was hard to read the code but I checked it and was able to successfully unlock the truck using the code. Thanks! a million!
My ST was made in 2000 im assuming it's a job1 by what I see here, but I don't have the computer thing in the jack compartment. Will this be a problem for the keypad use. Or can it be used? Will an OBD II reader help?
