Where's The Horn?

We recently became the proud owners of a '96 dark green XLT. The horn not only doesn't work but we can't locate the horn in the engine compartment! Can anyone tell us where it should be or share a wiring diagram with us so we can trace the wires? A working horn sure would come in handy!!!

Welcome to the forum. Its right below the drivers side headlight basically. If you remove the inner fender lining on the front driver's wheel well.. you'll have great access to it. Good luck! Have you checked the fuses and whatnot?

Horn is Silent

We checked the fuse block and all fuses are good. We're hoping that it's something simple, like a disconnected wire on the horn, but at 107° it's too hot to go out and check the horn. If the horn doesn't work at all I think we'll take the dual horns off our '73 Cougar and hook them up. That ought to get people's attention!
