Which TC's bolt-up to the 302 V8?

So, I am looking for a new transfer case, looking to get away from the BW4404 into something that is either manually operated or electrically automated (if it's reliable). Which cases will bolt up? I keep hearing things about the BW1354; which one's are both very reliable and will bolt to the 302 V8 without any custom fabrication needed.

Search. There are a few threads on this. A swap to a BW 4406 is the way to go. Just did mine and love it! I have to get my front driveshaft shortened though. The F-150/Expedition front shaft is a very tight fit in the Explorer.

I recommend an Atlas 2 or 4speed. If you don't want to spend that much, the 4406 swap is great. Run a search on the forum and you can read all about it. The only thing I ran into when I was doing my 4406 swap was that I could only find expedition driveshafts in NC with either a 1410 front u-joint or a 1350 CV. The CV section was too long for the 1350 shaft and the 1410 I had to dent in my gas tank to make it fit without hitting.
