It's hard to understand your problem. Not enough information. What you have given us is confusing.

its a whistling sound from the passenger side only when the truck is moving.

Dust excluder seal on the front spindle. That's where I would put my money. There is a TSB that covered that issue several years ago... Parts should still be available.

thankx ill check into it

is it from the wheel ??

from the interior, ?

under the hood ??

does it change with speed,, ??

outside or inside ??

not enough info yet ,

could be the wheel.doesnt change with speed or rpm.outside. passengers side.the dust boot looks fine.

Dust Excluder Seal
, not CV joint boot. Classic symptoms, common problem, simple solution. Search and yee shall find hundreds of people with the same issue. It first surfaced about 10 years ago... Mine were changed twice before the TSB came out with the revised part. 150,000 miles later, they're still quiet.

well it was warmer out today and no squeek. so tmw im gonna spray some lube (rubber safe) on both front seals see if it work then go order the seals sinc ei live out in the desert where the dust is abundant.;l

All that will do is hold the dust against the seal and exacerbate the problem.

As for the squeal, it'll work... for a little while... but it'll be back eventually.

The seals need to be replaced, plain and simple.

and what if this isn't the noise,, you may be so concentrated on the seals that you do not look at all the parts you take off to get to these seals,,

make sure you look over everything you take off, especially the wheel bearings,, and the brakes , and let us know what you find out,,,

The brakes, bearings, and CV joints will all change pitch or frequency with speed. In my experience, the dust excluder seals are the only part that won't change pitch with the speed of the vehicle.

im chekin the seals tmw when i do my tt.whaqt should i look for as far as damage on the seals?

There may not be any visible damage or wear... My old ones looked used, but didn't appear to be defective.

IIRC, the new ones have a different material, that's all. Same size, same shape, different polymer.

they didnt look damaged but i have them on order.i did the torsion twist today and raised it two inches but the cvs have a rather severe angle .ive read threads that said it changes the angle but wont affect the cvs life if its less then 2 inches.looks good though
