I have a 95 XLT. The trans will make a whirring/grinding sound when i put it into reverse. Then i will pu it in park and back into reverse and it will be fine. It has only happened to me when its cold (im referring tothe engine not being warmed up, not the weather, although it is december in PA). Also I do not have 4WD low although I do have 4WD auto. Any help is appreciated.
