I have a 2000 Mountaineer AWD and there is some sort of whistling sound that i think is coming from the rear of the car. The pitch of the sound changes with with speed and you can start to hear it around 35 and it is very noticable at highway speed like 50 and up.
Whenever i take my foot of the gas the whistle goes away. It seems to whistle more under light throttle becuase when you give it more gas it still whistles but becomes more subtle.
Someone please help because i drive alot of highway and this is making me go crazy. The car only has 55k on it.
