White face gauges for 97?

Hi, i have a 97 Sport and i want some white face gauges. I found a few of them that say they are for 97's, but i noticed that the layout is a bit different. Like the Check Engine Light is on the right side of the cluster instead of the left (stock position) from the pics i've seen. Does everything get rewired or are they mayb just showing a general pic for explorers?. Do they even make them for 97's with the stock layout? I was looking at procarparts.com btw. Thanks for any input

I got some for my 97XLT off ebay. Seller was twelve_racing. The gauges are great, they match my stock panel very well. Price was a lot better than anyone else I could find, too.

Are these the same ones you have? He says there for 95-97, but still the check enigne is on the oposite side. My CEL is where the fuel cap label is. What happens if the CEL ever comes on, will i still be able to see it? Thanks again

Maybe you have a late 97 truck and actually have the 98+ gauges? Do yours match pictures of those?

Great idea Alec. I searched for 98 and came across these:

They match a bit better, the CEL is where its supposed to be. The only difference is the fuel reset on the white gauges is my door/ajar on my stock ones. So i guess when i open my door the fuel reset will light up. The only other thing i see is, on my stock gauges the check gauge is near the top left of the rpm and the fuel reset is in the top middle of the rpm and speedometer. But these gauges have the holes for them, and the only down side is they will not be white, only stock looking instead.

If i go with the first ones i mentioned everthing will be perfect expect if i ever get a CEL the fuel reset will light.

Which ones should i go for?

Those are exactly the ones I have (the first link, fro twelve_racing). I hadn't noticed anything being in a different place; I might have to open it up tomorrow and check!
