2007 Sport Trac XLT
and rename it Sport Trac. Hearing the news a while back that Ford discontinued the Sport Trac and Ranger makes me sad

Those wheels are Ford OEM which look like the Adrenalin wheels. They are from the last gen Ford Ranger Wildtrak that was not very good looking. This truck though, I want.

It does come in diesel as well. Something Ford will not give us here.

I like it!! how do I get one!?! XD

Well then I want two!! XD

Does Mike Rowe come with dat thing? :P

Needs the new 5.0 400+ hp V-8

Wow, even back in the early stages I wanted a global Ranger, but that one looks even better than anyone I've seen. I'm not much for those wheels, but other than that's it's awesome.

I don't think we'll get it anytime soon though. I was reading not long ago how Ford's basic plan is to divide up the previous Ranger market into the F150 and Transit markets. It does, unfortunately, make a good bit of sense. Transit serves the purpose of a cheap, fuel efficient commercial vehicle, while the F150 serves as the truck (with improving fuel efficiency).
I'd still love a global Ranger, but I doubt there is the market for it. I'm quite excited to see what the new Chevy Colorado looks like come 2014/2015 - the global model's current grill looks a bit bad, but it wouldn't take much work to fix that and Americanize it. And current word is they're thinking on Chevy's new 2.5L and 3.6L (no word denying or confirming a diesel), both of which are powerful and efficient engines.

Why couldn't Ford just call this an F-100 and bring it here. Problem solved--F-series sales aren't cannibalized, instead they increase. I'd love a new Sport Trac, but I'd happily take this world Ranger design too.

"Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black"
today should read . . .
Today - Any customer can have any truck so long as it is F150 . . .
I have no idea as to why, profit?

But what i do know the F150 won't fit in my driveway. I have a narrow lot, no way is it possible to back that thing up a 100ft long, 8ft wide, house on one side chain link fence on the other. Ford needs to think small. I thought it would be a great idea keep the 4th gen frame/powertrain and toss a extended cab and bed on the back. The Trac has a longer frame too it should fit.

I'd take it in a second.

I like the black roof...

I do think I like the look of the non-Wildtrak one better. (first 2 pics)

this!!

Unless I am missing something, the approximate cost in dollars of the Aussie Wildtrak is $60,000 (62,209 AUD)! I'd like one, but not if I could get an F-250 KR for less!

A lot of that is probably just taxes and the fact that in America everything costs way less than it does in the rest of the developed world.
I did a first responder class with a bunch of people from AUS, NZ and UK recently, and apparently designer shirts like Volcom, DC, etc. that I suppose (truthfully I have no idea) cost ~$25 in the US cost ~$80 (after conversion to USD) in Australia and in Europe.

WoW I like, why is that US is not part of the "World".... Yeah that would never sell here.... Right......
